Visual diagram · (in preparation) · Math · (in preparation) · Worked example · 3 difficulty levels.

TL;DR. Computer systems that can self-manage and adapt to changes.

Technical Definition

Computer systems that can self-manage and adapt to changes.

How it works

Autonomic Computing (AC) aims to create computer systems that can manage themselves without human intervention, much like the human autonomic nervous system. These systems are designed to adapt to unpredictable changes, optimize their own performance, heal themselves from failures, and protect against attacks, thereby reducing complexity and improving reliability.
